Migraines Triggered by Storm
Nov 17, 2023
This bomb cyclone has not only made it dangerous to go anywhere, it has triggered lots of migraines. Dr. Peter McAllister of New England Institue for Neurology & Headache says you can blame it on the low barometric pressure. He says this bomb cyclone has caused the biggest dip in barometric pressure since Super Storm Sandy. For relief, he says hydrate and reach for pain reliever. That may mean over-the-counter non-steroidal products like Aleve, Tylenol, Advil, etc. Or, that may mean the medication prescribed by your doctor.
