When he left his practice I stayed for 1 visit I followed him ever since. The people who run this practice are very kind and do their best to work around your schedule. They always have me a call to make sure I didn’t miss appointments and even though my study ended early. They tried to help me get involved in other studies. If I had advice to give anyone else I would say to be honest about your answers because what ever your testing is going to help others with the problems you are having.

Dr McAllister is the most incredible doctor. He is the only doctor that has been effective in treating my migraines. His kindness and patience and the time he spends just listening to all my questions makes all the difference. I never feel rushed or have any concerns that are overlooked. Dr McAllister is the best. He is smart, kind and most importantly , he gets to the diagnosis quickly. I have had a headache everyday for a year and popping Advils daily. About a month ago, vertigo kicked in and my life became miserable. After a thorough visit , I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines. I an only 2.5 days into tx and already feel 60 percent better. Dr M is a genius!

Dr. McAllister is hands down the best! He FaceTimed my daughter because of bad weather and was still the same relaxed, calm, funny and full of knowledge doctor we'd see in his office. After going over several options for her headaches and migraines control, he helped my daughter make a decision that suits her best. He not only gave clear and precise information regarding all options, but supports her whole heartedly with the decision she made. He, as well as his office staff, are by far one of the best we've encountered. Highly recommend, if you're on the fence, these are the people to trust.

As a physician I believe I can be overly critical of practioners and the current state of medical care. Dr McAllister is at the top of his profession for knowledge and compassion. I travel from Buffalo to see Dr. McAllister. It is totally worth it! I have been dealing with chronic migraine for several decades. Dr.McAllister is up on all the latest treatments and is willing to try different things until something works. I have a complicated case and he has given me hope . Dr McAllister customizes treatment with what is right for each individual patient. I love that he doesn’t rely on a “set it and forget it” set protocol for every patient like other doctors do. He really listens and recommends based on a patient’s individuality. But what I love the most is how he talks to and listens to my daughter. She feels respected and heard.

Dr. McAllister is extremely patient and listens to his patients. He spends time with me and I never feel rushed. I originally saw Dr. McAllister when he practiced in Fairfield. I tried someone else, but I was not satisfied with my care. As a result, I have been seeing Dr. McAllister in Stamford even though I live in Trumbull and am now 85 years old. Dr. McAllister has a wonderful rapport with his patients and their spouses.

Dr Mullin is such a comforting and calming soul. My migraines were unbearable and Dr. Mccalister and Dr. Mullin have eliminated them with Botox injections. My quality of life has improved dramatically.

Dr. McAllister is amazing! He has helped my daughter greatly. She has suffered from chronic migraines. It varied but at it’s worse, she only had about 2-3 days a month without a migraine. She now has maybe 1 migraine per month now and has medicine for breakthrough migraines which get rid of it in 30 minutes. He and his staff have always been accessible and helpful. Absolutely recommend him!
