Dr. McAllister is always caring, always professional, always listens to what’s you have to say, always makes you feel that what you have to say is important. I have been a patient of Dr. Peter McAllister for over 3 years now. Originally severely injured by the Covid-19 vaccine, he is the only one of the 4 previous neurologists that I met with at the time who correctly and promptly diagnosed me, based on quickly - and I’m talking 2 days! - scheduled tests. And this is after 4 months of me going to all different doctors since my Covid booster vaccine. Since then, I’ve been his patient, and though the road has been long and windy (and physically painful, literally), I was always not only supported medically with different treatment options, but encouraged and supported emotionally with attention and care, which is quite rare these days, by Dr. Peter McAllister. Scheduling is also non-complicated; all the staff - special thanks goes to Kim and Holly - are very friendly and helpful. They also have a HQHT practice next door that can help with necessary physical theraphy etc.. This is the model of what medical care should be!

Dr McAllister is very gentle giving the Botox injections. I have been receiving this treatment for years and it has changed my life. It was a major part of turning my life around, returning back to work in Nursing was my priority and I was able to do that with his help along with prophylactic medical treatment. My 14 year old son had sudden and severe pain in his feet and an inability to control/move his feet during football practice and Dr. McAllister was so kind to squeeze us in for an appointment on short notice. When he left his practice I stayed for 1 visit I followed him ever since. I have made the most important decision to travel to Stamford just to stay with him. Dr McAllister is the best. He is smart, kind and most importantly , he gets to the diagnosis quickly. I have had a headache everyday for a year and popping Advils daily. About a month ago, vertigo kicked in and my life became miserable. After a thorough visit , I was diagnosed with vestibular migraines. I an only 2.5 days into tx and already feel 60 percent better. Dr M is a genius!

Dr. McAllister is hands down the best! He FaceTimed my daughter because of bad weather and was still the same relaxed, calm, funny and full of knowledge doctor we'd see in his office. I travel from Buffalo to see Dr. McAllister. It is totally worth it! I have been dealing with chronic migraine for several decades. Dr McAllister customizes treatment with what is right for each individual patient. I love that he doesn’t rely on a “set it and forget it” set protocol for every patient like other doctors do. He really listens and recommends based on a patient’s individuality. But what I love the most is how he talks to and listens to my daughter. She feels respected and heard.

Dr. McAllister is amazing! He has helped my daughter greatly. She has suffered from chronic migraines. It varied but at it’s worse, she only had about 2-3 days a month without a migraine. She now has maybe 1 migraine per month now and has medicine for breakthrough migraines which get rid of it in 30 minutes. He and his staff have always been accessible and helpful.
